Questions
How much does a Ring Ring bike subscription cost?
From DKK 89 a month on a 12-month plan, DKK 99 on 6 months and DKK 119 with no commitment. There is no setup fee.
Why are the bikes ugly?
We use second-hand bikes from local bike shops and only upgrade the parts that fail: tyres, lights and brakes. That keeps the price low, and nobody wants to steal them.
What happens if my bike breaks?
Drop by your shop during opening hours and ride off on another bike straight away. The shop fixes the old one. No extra cost.
What if my bike is stolen?
Report it on politi.dk and pay the bike's DKK 800 replacement price. Your deposit is deducted, so we charge DKK 500 to your card. You get a new bike for a new deposit, and if the old one turns up you get DKK 600 back.
When does my subscription end?
When you have returned the bike to the shop. If you cancel without returning it, the subscription keeps running, and after 14 days you pay the bike's DKK 800 replacement price. Your deposit is deducted, and we charge the rest to your card.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, DKK 300, which you get back when you return the bike in good order. The setup fee is DKK 0.
Can I get a bike without a Danish CPR number?
Yes. Verify with your passport and a selfie instead of MitID.
Can I choose a women's or men's bike?
Yes, you choose when you book. The bike shop finds the right size for you when you pick it up.
Which bike shop will I get?
We find a bike shop close to where you live and let you know when your bike is ready. That's also where you swap it if it breaks.
