# Ring Ring

> Ring Ring is a bike subscription in Denmark delivered through local bike shops. Bikes are second-hand and deliberately plain ("ugly") but street-legal and maintained. If a bike breaks, the customer swaps it at their own shop the same day. From DKK 89/month, no setup fee.

## Prices (as of 2026-09-29)
- Monthly: DKK 119/month (Cancel with one month's notice)
- 6 months: DKK 99/month (Fits one semester)
- 12 months: DKK 89/month (Cheapest in town)
- Setup fee: DKK 0
- Deposit: DKK 300, refundable
- ID: Danish MitID, or passport + selfie
- Theft: customer pays the DKK 800 replacement price (deposit deducted); new bike for a new deposit. Lock included with every bike
- Swaps for faults and normal wear: free. Damage the customer causes: shop rate, max DKK 800
- Subscription ends only when the bike is returned. Not returned 14 days after the end date: DKK 800 replacement price is charged (DKK 600 back if returned within 30 days)
- 14-day right of withdrawal
- No Danish CPR number needed: passport + selfie accepted (good for exchange students)
- Bikes are not one unisex model: choose a women's or men's bike; the shop picks the right size
